Most of the jerseys and t-shirts I wear are for a reason. There’s either a story behind them, or they just say something to capture the mood. Some are for safety. Some are just comfortable. And some are just fun. Here are a few you’ll probably catch me wearing across America.
These define the trip of course.
There are others for other causes too…
The Great Cycle Challenge is a virtual ride that runs through June (You just log your miles throughout the month). I participated in 2016 and since I’ll be out there anyway, I will do it again in 2017. We raise funds for pediatric cancer research. It’s not my primary fund raiser, but it is an option… Great Cycle Challenge 2017 – donate.

This one honors my friends and family who have fought or are fighting cancer. Even though it’s a pink ribbon, I don’t limit my thinking to breast cancer.

Some are for reward. This one is for completing the Rapha Festive 500 in 2016. The Festive 500 is a challenge to ride 500 kilometers (310 miles) in the eight days between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. All I can say is it was darn cold this year!

Some say something about me…
Where I’m from (at least now). Besides, I like the bear!
What I do.
Where I work (Kaiser Permanente)

For the hills…
And then there are those that are high vis for safety…

Some will just show off my fabulous cyclist tan!
The t-shirts really don’t need much explanation…
Or…
That’s part of my spy motto: Admit nothing. Deny everything. Demand proof. Make counter accusations. 🙂

Getting closer! Tick tock…
Ride on!
I LOVE the across America tee shirt! That’s awesome!

Thanks! So easy to do. I love that it’s a virtual ride. Just log your rides as you go. And this year, it connects with Strava so even easier! 🙂
